[attr="class","bodyy"]Please keep in mind that these are simply personality snapshots. Your character does not need to fit their personality type completely. Personality types should be decided based on what traits your character is most like. All personality types are gender neutral.
CRANKY
Cranky villagers are often bitter and out of touch with trends. They are easily irritated, self-centered, like to gossip, and may seem unfriendly at first. However, cranky villagers are in actuality very protective of their friends. They get along best with snooty and other cranky villagers, but often clash with peppy, smug, uchi/ani, and sporty villagers.
SPORTY
These villagers are obsessed with sports and physical appearances. They are braggarts, but very encouraging of the people around them. They may seem stereotypically stupid or easily confused. Despite their competitive nature, they are rarely angry. They do not get along with lazy villagers.
LAZY
Like their namesake, lazy villagers are relaxed and laid back. They can seem arrogant, but they are hospitable and friendly. They are often theorists, coming up with crazy ideas or explanations for things. Much of their time is dedicated to hobbies. Lazy villagers get along best with peppy, normal, and other lazy villagers. Sporty villagers are not their cup of tea.
NORMAL
Normal villagers are often self-depricative, overly apologetic, and obsessed with cleanliness and hygiene. They are not concerned with their appearance, and instead are focused on being caring, friendly, and hospitable. They often have interests in cooking, books, and art. Other than snooty and cranky villagers, normal villagers get along well with everyone.
SMUG
Polite and kind, smug villagers have a courteous and mannerly air about them. They get along well with others, usually due to how lively and positive they are. However, be weary of their tendencies to be conceited and flirty.
PEPPY
Peppy villagers are the cheeriest around, always chipper and rarely discouraged. They are constantly excited, leading to a rather short attention span. With their vast and wild imaginations, many of them dream of stardom. Peppy villagers get along well with normal, lazy, and sporty villagers. Snooty or cranky villagers may find them annoying.
SNOOTY
Snooty villagers can be big-headed and arrogant, often interested in the more lavish things in life, such as high-fashion. They are well-spoken, but have hot tempers and sarcastic tongues. They tend to have exotic or upper-class names. Snooty villagers have difficulty socializing with those that have conflicting lifestyles, though they tend to get along with cranky villagers.
UCHI/ANI
Uchi/Ani villagers are often described as the big sibling type, being very caring and protective. However, they can be blunt or rude, and even intimidating due to their tough exteriors. Despite this, they are often friendly and respectful. Their favorite things to do are stay up late at night.
